Why I started SOJOURN...

Allow me share a little bit about who I am.

I am a husband and a father to 3 children, but what is most important to you is my unyielding passion for the beauty and wonder that is what I like to call "Natural Italy". I grew up hearing stories about the home of my ancestors from my grandparents, but it wasn’t until I experienced it for myself that I really understood all that this country has to offer. From backpacking, hiking and paragliding to the home grown, organic fruits and vegetables used to create authentic dishes and wines, I enveloped myself in the culture, and experienced life in a way I never thought possible. 

When I got back to the States, Italy was all I was able to think about. The memory of Italy's beauty kept me awake at night, and captivated my thoughts throughout the day. This trip had changed me; I knew that I couldn’t keep it to myself. 

This is why I started Sojourn.
